•Vampires are undead. And you can only become a vampire after death

•It is largely assumed getting vampirism kills you, this is not the case. The blood loss or other factors are usually what kill. Someone can have vampirism for decades and be fine, unknowing until they wake up in their grave

•Sidenote- make way for people to tell when someone has vampirism?

•Generally types of vampire dna getting mixed with yours is what turns you (example: a vampire's saliva mixing with your blood. A vamps blood mixing with yours, Drinking a vampires blood, etc)

•Artifacts can also turn, but are rare and hard to give the ability

•Hey you know like. Anteaters and butterflies? Their tongues? You know how vampire bats bite you and then lick the blood?

•Vampires have been noted to eat human flesh as well. Typically starved, freshly turned, or powerful vampires do this

•Most vampires lose memory after their death, and freshly turned are noted to be violent no matter how they acted in life -This is due to many factors, such as confusion, pain, and a strong hunger (they need to get their energy back after dying)

•Not everyone bitten turns into a vampire. Not sure exactly why yet. But there'd be alot of vampires flying around if everyone bit got turned

•I know for certain, that if you get killed too fast to get vampirism, or get too much blood drained. You wont turn
