Branches from zombie Jekyll, the key differences here is the 1: Jekyll didn't scream 2: He woke up alot faster

He goes home, he uses flesh weaver to fill the gaps, makes a glass eye to replace the one he lost, and. hm. not sure where'd he'd get a prosthetic or cast but whatever it is he makes sure to always wear gloves and long sleeves to cover it up, and he moves on

His blood is found the next day, no body and no weapon, it's in the news but nothing is found

He drinks a potion so his heart still beats. He wears perfume to smell of peppermint and not of sickening rot. But his skin is cold, he has no blush, his body his stiff, and he does not breathe. You notice it all but you dont notice it at all

He goes to Frankenstein

"If you don't mind Ms. Frankenstein, I was wondering if you'd indulge me in a few questions"

"I just wanted to know, how do you stop Creature from rotting? How do you keep him in such an eternal state that he does not decompose, or even smell?"

"I see, thank you Ms. Frankenstein"

He finds a way, even for just a short time, but then Moreau comes back

How interesting. That the very person his creatures killed is still standing before him, acting alive

"My creatures killed you." "It seems they didn't" "Then what's this all about? He tapped the glass eye, You didn't have that before" "I said they didn't kill me, I didn't say they didn't attack me" "No one could have survived that, the blood loss alone would have left anyone dead" "I'm not anyone" "You're not breathing Doctor. Haven't this entire conversation, you haven't even blinked" Jekyll pauses, blinks, "This has only been a short conversation" Moreau laughs

Decides to make a NEW Mad Scientist™ play. Because hey! They've been playing a bad adaptation of F*ankenstein for years and keep making a great profit! Imagine if they brought something completely new to the table!However there hasn't exactly been any Mad Scientists™ living traumatic and dying dramatic recently so they decide to make up a character instead of just basing it on a real person. And to play their main scientist? Who other than the the MadRouge Scientist™ next door, Dr. Henry JekyllNow here's the fun part. The play is literally just the j&h m*sical. Maybe with a fun mix of the book. They literally cast Dr. Jekyll as their outlandish completely fantastical, Impossible To Be Real scientist who spilt his soul in half with a funky potion. Unaware that Jekyll did just thatAnyway Jekyll accepts. Because he gets to be in a play!! And more importantly he'll be given a large enough percentage that is the play goes well he might not have to worry too much of a failed exhibition. But also play!! About a mad scientist!! He gets to sing while having a breakdown on stage! He's a main character!! Crippling dept!Lanyon is trying to convince Jekyll not to do this some inaccurate play that inspired Henry as a kid is completely different from this, especially with Henry, the face of the society, being the mad scientist. Frankenstein probably says something snarky and rude like J's "better fit for being an actor then a scientist"an-army-of-nightmares @satan-but-shorter Bbsnsbdks I like how nearly everyone said something about Jekyll actually transforming, especially since that was my first idea XD. Considering Hyde is still wanted he just transforms into Hyde But With A WigIt'd definitely be ooc considering how cautious Jekyll is. It be fantastic. And the very thought of some 1885 play including the song "Bitch Bitch Bitch" is wonderful. BUT "Murder Murder" absolutely must be this specific version vOh Frankenstein would absolutely be jealous if Jekyll's play did better than hers. That's a great idea!Despite their attempts, Jekyll is just too good. I bet he wouldn't break character even if he was shot with a real gun during the wedding scene. The staff at the theater tells the Lodgers to please stop disturbing or they'll be kicked out 😔I've never listened to the whole musical either XD tbh I haven't even listened to all the songsIn the au, Jekyll does actually get stuff from the society to make for special effects thatd astound someone today! Like a whole bunch, so the green eyes wouldn't even rise suspicions! Unless you're Frankenstein who Saw Jekyll With Green Eyes before and is silently connecting all the dots. Well if she is actually allowed in the play. Grandma crimes is still on bedrestYeah! Do you think the Carews are looked upon well enough that the play would actually refer to them by name? I bet so. ALSO I haven't mentioned yet but I'm thinking maybe the play has different names for everyone, can't just go around suggesting the actual Dr. Jekyll is the actual Hyde. We can call Hyde, Hubert /j (I dont know what the fake play names would be) ALSO I wonder what the costumes would look likeI hear your Emma playing Emma, and I raise you. Lucy playing Lucy. Because the thought of them somehow actually hiring a wanted criminal for a play is great. Also I just really want tgs Lucy and Jekyll to interact at some point because I feel like they'd get along. (Based on what I know, I don't think tgs Lucy and play Lucy are similar? They seem very different, I wonder how'd she feel about the script)Oh itd be a massive success!!! Tbh all the special effects may just be an exhibition on it's own. Hyde playing Hyde But With A Wig is having a great time and not even trying to run off or jeopardize anything.
