A bit of crossposting! Readalongs are back, thought they'll be taking place in my alternate channel and we will be diving into the Bookworm Fanfic world. “A World Away” by Yours Truly presents a the following scenario: What if Myne never became a noble? Originally, Ferdinand intended for Myne to be trained and eventually leave the temple to become the wife or concubine of a noble, most likely Eckhart. In this alternate story, Myne doesn’t become Rozemyne or attend the Royal Academy. Instead, she remained in the temple, obscure and unknown though always busy with her businesses, and protected by Ferdinand until her coming of age. The time has come for her to depart from the temple and the lower city to begin a new life as Eckhart’s concubine in the noble district. But Myne’s heart isn’t ready to make such a change. Leaving her family will be a challenge, but leaving Ferdinand is unthinkable. Amidst these personal struggles, Yurgenschmidt is on the brink of collapse. What sacrifices will be necessary to save the world and everyone Myne cares about? Or is everyone destined to face the same fate as their crumbling country? Of course that is the case with almost EVERY AoaB volume, but this one especially so: Striving to change Yurgenschmidt for the better, Ferdinand starts a revolution that will abolish the distorted royal family and put a true Zent on the throne. Not everyone is on board, however, and as the Grutrissheit transference ceremony draws near, Rozemyne continues to wrestle with divine interference. Unease spreads, but not for our resident bookworm; the future she envisions is much too exciting. Operation Library City is just within reach!
