Also, the battery life on both models is significantly improved cuz of the efficiency of the new ships (better than the s21 lol)

It improves overall image quality in any mode. Its completely free to download and you will see difference in image/ video quality. Just tweek the settings and you are good to go.

Thinking of upgrading from my S21 (base) to the S25 Ultra, but not feeling a huge leap in advancement. It's a lot of money too.
Tried the S25 Ultra in-store, and honestly, it didn’t feel *that* different from my S21.

Amy tips for taking good portrait shots of human subjects? At times the pics turn out to be a bit grainy while zooimg in with loss of details on the face. Am I missing out on some settings here?

I think a major reason big vendors like Samsung refuse to implement MicroSD is because people buy slow crappy MicroSD cards and then blame the phone for being slow. (This besides making money from higher storage options.)
A solution to this would be to show a push notification that warns the user: "The MicroSD card you have inserted is too slow. Please replace it with a higher quality card."
There is only so much space and performance that fits into the small physical form factor of a MicroSD card, whereas Samsung has full control over the design of the internal storage. They can make it as physically large as they like. A solution to this would be to implement full-sized SD card readers (they are up to 2 TB now!), but that is a far-away pipe dream.

So long story shorts microsd is not needed, microsd is a waste of space. It's 2025 use great usb type c flash drives if you want to backup something end of story

Yes, USB-OTG can be useful (e.g. you can use a multi-terabyte TB SSD), but it is still no replacement for MicroSD.
MicroSD lets you recover your data if your phone breaks. Also, a bad update can remotely disable your phone. Louis Rossmann has already shown it.
Have you ever watched a video that shows someone recovering data from internal storage? It is insanely difficult and might cost more than the phone itself.
Cloud storage isn't always an option. In countries with oppressive governments like Iran, MicroSD allows sharing 256 GB of data without internet connections in one minute. While 256 GB takes over a month to transfer with the slow Internet that exists there and is spied upon by the government.
Not only should phones have MicroSD but full-sized SD. Because they have up to 2 TB at this point. And they have more rewrite cycles.
No MicroSD = corporate greed.

Please add an option to always open the rear camera to your camera app.
Currently, the camera software in Samsung smartphones launches the last used camera. This means if the front camera was active before exiting the last time, the front camera will be opened the next time. This is undesirable because it causes missed moments.
This would be very easy for Samsung to implement, and an option to start in photo mode instead of the last used mode already exists, so there is no reason not to add this option as well.
Having to remember to switch back to the rear camera before exiting is inconvenient.

S25 Ultra is beast, as I jumped from S22, so for me this is huge jump and a lot of changes on the performance side and great quality phone so far, battery life is superb I LOVE IT!
