Oh, I’m certainly alright with the idea, I’ve just never really had my work translated before so I don’t know what that would require from both of us. If you are alright talking with me off of anon, I’d be alright with trying to figure it out!

I took some time away from the next update to make a basic reference sheet for the main characters in The Search for Henry Jekyll. In the past, I’ve had plenty of people come to me asking for references and I felt bad that I never had one clear thing to show. Also, here’s some extra tips:
- Henry tends to stick with a ‘well off’ wardrobe but usually on the more casual side of things. Most of his clothes range from greens, teals, browns and purples. I usually try to pair teals with warm browns since they go well on him.
- Unless he has a coat on top or is in an event that it’d too casual to do, Henry will always have his sleeves rolled up.
- I use a very dull, dark purple for the base color of Henry’s hair. It’s technically black but for color I like the purple tint of it.
- Al’s look is far more official, (even though, he ironically doesn’t tend to try too hard and it’s just lucky that it turns out well). He sticks with all varieties of blues with grays, reds and black to accent it. Since his skin and hair are so light, I usually go with darker colors. Also golds and silvers can embroider most of his stuff pretty well.
- Al’s hair is white, but I give the shadows a blue tint since white by itself tends to be dull. He usually ties it in a simple, low ponytail but he’ll have a variety of other styles with it up upon occasion.
- Most of Molly’s clothes are pretty simple and cute- she’s never really owned anything elegant or detailed. Aside from her uniform, she prefers muted pinks, yellows, browns and occasional greens- basically spring colors. Most of the time she doesn’t show a lot of skin.
- Hyde really digs baggy clothes- he feels like they make him look bigger and more menacing, which is why he choose the coat he wears. He’s really into all reds along with maroon, browns and blacks but he will still wear Henry’s clothes (and therefore, his color range) from time to time. I usually try to avoid having the reddest red in his scheme being pure red, instead I put it a little more toward purple/pink.
- Hyde does not wear ties or anything that goes around the neck. He will have occassions where he switches out from Henry and has no time to notice but if he has a moment he will rip it off. I do draw him in ties for random illustrations but that’s simply because I made him a nice outfit for it that has a neckpiece.
- Hyde’s cane is black and gold- the handle has a pattern carved out of it.
- Color-wise, Oswald’s palette is somewhat similar to Henry’s, the difference is that he has far more browns and tans than anything. He also tends to have very blue greens and more olive greens than an actual pure green. The other big difference between him and Henry is that Oswald’s always well-dressed and will always look official and ready for action.
- Oswald always has his hair up in a high ponytail, he finds low ones to come off as lazy.
- Unless he’s in a private place, Oswald is always wearing gloves.
