About the authors
Lucy Blue is a writer of horror, fantasy, and romance (and often some combination of all three). Her first professional fiction credit was as half of Anne Hathaway-Nayne, the partnership that wrote Forever Knight: These Our Revels, a tie-in novel for the late-90s TV show about a vampire homicide cop. She is currently a writer and lead editor for Falstaff Crush, the romance line from Falstaff Books. In between, she has published six horror/fantasy romances with Pocket Books-Simon and Schuster (as Lucy Blue and as Jayel Wylie) and self-published through her own micro-press, Little Red Hen Romance.
She holds an M.A. in English from Winthrop University and is a 1981 graduate of the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts.
S.H. Roddey writes speculative fiction. She is also a voracious reader, wanna-be chef, amateur gamer, and owner of a local handcrafted market. She lives in the Piedmont area of South Carolina with a house full of humans and cats and spends entirely too much time yelling at her sewing machine.
Liese Sherwood-Fabre has won awards for her thrillers, romance, and literary short stories, and NYT bestselling author Steve Berry describes her writing as "gimmick-free, old-fashioned storytelling."
In the second grade, she knew she was destined to write when she got an A+ for her story about Dick, Jane, and Sally's ruined picnic. After obtaining her PhD from Indiana University, she joined the federal government and had the opportunity to work and live internationally for more than fifteen years. She draws upon these experiences to endow her characters with deep conflicts and emotions.
You can follow her upcoming releases and other events by joining her newsletter at www.liesesherwoodfabre.com, or visiting her Facebook, Twitter, or Bebo accounts. You can also contact her at liese@liesesherwoodfabre.com.

MELISSA MCARTHUR is a master swordswoman, a world-renowned traveler, and lover of all things bookish. One of these things is actually true. When she isn’t saving the world, one word at a time, she’s busy lecturing university students on parenthetical citations and torturing authors with her red pen. No matter what the capacity—editor, author, teacher—Melissa is utterly fascinated by books and words. She believes that there’s something magical about holding a book in your hand and watching as the words disappear and the story unfolds before your eyes. She hopes that she can do that for readers both as an editor and a writer—create stories that engulf you, change you, scare you, bewilder you, make you laugh, make you cry, and through stories, reveal deeper truths about life.
Melissa can be found hiding in the deep corners of the library or at home with her laptop and cat. For those of you out in cyberspace, she can also be found at any of the following cyber places:

Jason Gilbert an author, film critic, and licensed electrician. Best known for his action-packed and often irreverent Coldstone Case Files series, Gilbert’s work has been published in multiple anthologies along with his own novels.
Born in Rock Hill SC, he published his first book Gaslit Insurrection in 2017, kicking off the Clockworks of War trilogy. Once completed, that led to a collection of short stories placed in the same universe (The Rifle Chronicles). In 2019 Wolfbane, the first novella in the Coldstone universe was released quickly followed by Wolfmoon, Wolfsong, and Wolfheart. Due to their popularity, they were re-released as One with the Wolf: The Coldstone Case Files Volume One in 2021. Book two in the series (A Dog with Two Tails) is slated to hit shelves in early 2023.
Jason streams on twitch as Failflix, with OhHaiMark and TheGreyCat every Sunday on Terrible Movies with Wonderful People. He hosts and runs the Time Travelling Authors booth at the NC Renaissance Festival each year. His influences include horror cinema, bloody video games, dark beer, and heavy metal music.
Katie lives in Milwaukee, WI, where she does absolutely nothing with her marine biology degree, and instead nurtures her obsession with gothic soap operas, Sherlock Holmes, and every cross-genre work of fiction she can find. She also writes stories. Her favorite hobbies are the weird ones.
Her Adventures of Watts and Sherlock series follows a rogue medic and an independent detective with a Holmesian obsession in a cybernetic future. There are three books in the series so far, with a fourth upcoming.
Katie's short stories have been published in the anthologies "An Improbable Truth: The Paranormal Adventures of Sherlock Holmes," "Holmes Away From Home: Adventures From the Great Hiatus," "Curious Incidents: More Paranormal Adventures," and "Sherlock Holmes: Adventures in the Realms of H.G. Wells."
Robert is a writer and librarian living on the Palouse in northern Idaho. He writes across the pulpy genres but is especially fond of Dr. Watson and Sherlock Holmes.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2017First rate! I especially enjoyed the first story by Sherwood, sherlock and Holmes as Vampires. Ha! too funny. But it was also intriguing. I'm a fan of all her work so that's why I got this one.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2017Anytime you take on the task of removing Holmes and Watson out of their comfort zone -- Victorian London in 1895 -- you can end up with a mess on your hands... such is not the case in this collection of stories... the plots are interesting, and the character's reactions to the unique scenarios is refreshing... the authors should be proud of themselves...
- Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2017So much fun packed in this anthology of improbable adventures of the ever popular Sherlock Holmes. Each author puts their own spin on the eccentric detective as he ventures into the paranormal. Well written and entertaining.
