Dodgers Experience
The first-ever exhibition in Dodgers history in Japan.
This exhibition, organized by the Los Angeles Dodgers and MLB, will bring the MLB 2024 World Series Trophy to Japan for the first time! There will also be an exhibit showcasing Shohei Ohtani's "50-50" achievements, as well as a corner showcasing the legends who have colored the Dodgers' 140-year history. We will continue to update this page with more information as it becomes available, so please stay tuned!
The exhibition will commemorate the "MLB Tokyo Series by Guggenheim," which will be held at Tokyo Dome from March 15 to 19, 2025.
"Dodgers Experience Exhibition" where you can fully enjoy the charm of the Dodgers
[Three areas]
It consists of three areas: an "immersive experience area" that recreates the Dodgers' iconic photo spot; an "exhibition area" where you can learn more about the Dodgers; and a "shopping area" where you can purchase Dodgers merchandise.
[Limited Experience Pass]
The Champion Pass will allow you to take commemorative photos with the World Series trophy and an original photo booth where you can take photos with Shohei Ohtani and other Dodgers players. The Legend Pass will also include a VR batting center experience where you can face pitcher Ohtani before his first official game for the Dodgers.
The "Dodgers Experience" Exhibition allows you to fully enjoy the charm of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Please come and experience this special space that can only be found here.
Immersive Experience
This area is set in a spherical dome space where you can learn about the Dodgers' 140-year history and players, as well as experience the excitement of the stadium and memorable scenes from last year.
Photo Spot
The facility recreates famous photo spots at Dodger Stadium, including the back panels that are placed behind players when they are interviewed by the media, the stadium's iconic hexagonal sign, and the four-color LA logo sign.
In addition, you can sit on a bench that was actually used at Dodger Stadium, brought from Los Angeles, giving you a simulated experience that makes you feel as if you are actually there.
If you're lucky, you might even meet the Dodgers' character Bobblehead!
Dodgers Museum
The unprecedented "50-50" (50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in one season) will be achieved in a game against the Miami Marlins on September 19, 2024. The museum will display memorabilia such as the base he reached when he stole the base that clinched the 40-40 mark and the base he reached when he stole his 59th base, as well as uniforms and helmets worn by Ohtani. There will also be an exhibition booth where visitors can learn about the history of the team, from its days as the Brooklyn Atlantics, founded in New York in 1884, to the present day.
2024 World Series
The championship trophy awarded to the 2024 World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers and the championship ring from the 2020 season will be on display in Japan for the first time. In addition, uniforms and caps worn by Ohtani, MVP Freddie Freeman, pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Mookie Betts in the game that decided the championship will also be on display.
The history of the Dodgers and Japan
The Dodgers have 12 Japanese players, including three currently active, and are one of the teams with a particularly strong connection to Japanese players in Major League Baseball. The exhibition will include commemorative boards of old and new star players that are on display at Dodger Stadium, as well as commemorative items from pioneer Hideo Nomo, who still holds the record for the most wins by a Japanese player in Major League Baseball with 123 wins.
History of Bobbleheads
The Dodgers are widely known for the high-quality bobbleheads they hand out at Dodger Stadium. This exhibit will display the entire collection of bobbleheads distributed since 2002. There are approximately 200 types in total, including rare limited editions, and this will be the first time that the entire collection will be displayed in one place.
