Public relations and awareness raising to promote safe bicycle use by consumers
We will collect information on bicycle accidents and, if necessary, have product tests conducted by the National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan. We will use the results of these tests to promote safe bicycle use among consumers.

Support for bicycle technician and bicycle safety maintenance technician systems
We will provide support for the qualification examinations for bicycle technicians administered by the Japan Vehicle Inspection Association, a general incorporated foundation, and for bicycle safety mechanics administered by the Japan Management Technology Association, a public interest incorporated foundation, and will also carry out public relations activities using traffic safety education opportunities.

Publicizing bicycle traffic rules through the use of the Five Rules for Safe Bicycle Use, etc.
We will work with local governments and private organizations to use the "Five Rules for Safe Bicycle Use" to carry out public relations activities to communicate bicycle traffic rules to users of all ages.

In order to reduce physical damage caused by traffic accidents, we will utilize various events held by national and local governments to conduct public relations activities to promote the wearing of helmets when riding bicycles, including when commuting to work or school.

Publicizing advanced overseas examples of traffic safety education
We will introduce effective overseas road safety education practices and examples to relevant institutions and support the implementation of appropriate educational methods for elementary, middle, and high school students according to the developmental stage of children.

Conducting safety inspections of school routes with a focus on bicycle commuting and travel.
We will encourage relevant organizations, including boards of education, schools, PTAs, police, and road administrators, to carry out safety inspections of school routes, taking into account the perspective of cyclists, and work to prevent bicycle accidents from a hardware perspective as well.
