Acer Aspire V 15 V3-572G-51DR 15.6-Inch HD Laptop (Platinum Silver) I'm making a ram upgrade but to do so I need the correct information to make the right purchase. Hello, I just purchased this laptop and would like to add memory and change the HD from a 5400 to a 7200 but cannot find a service manual nor any info about this laptop. It appears that you have to remvoe the entire top of the laptop to get to the inside compoments, but then the RAM isn't even visible. Is it impossible to change the hard drive and RAM? The datasheet said the max RAM that can be used is 16GB and this laptop has 8GB.
I'd like to add an internal DVD player to my Acer V3 572G-76EM --- what size drives are compatible with this unit?

The Amazon support says that they have no idea when it will be and said they would contact Acer for me but they have not. Just got this Lpatop, popped battery in, plugged it in. I turn it on, keyboard backlight comes on, the fans spin up, nothing comes on the screen. Nothing is coming out of the HDMI port, really frustrated at this point as this is the second Acer laptop i bought that had issues (granted first one was used so I gave Acer a pass). Anything I can do to fix this or is it just dead and send it back?
Hello , I am a recent owner of this laptop , and I have a question to ask . According to Intel's official information , the processor that is included in this laptop ( intel i5-5200u ) has turbo boost up to 2.7 GHz . I´ve realized that´s not true, the speed stabilizes at 2.2 , which is the CPU base frequency. It havent got access to these settings through the system BIOS. I wonder, if Acer did some modification to the cpu settings and if it is possible to have the feature. Thank you
Hi, I have an Acer Aspire V 15, model number V3-572G-5435 with 64 bit Windows 8.1. I am attempting to boot from a USB and am not able to do so. I've enabled the F12 boot menu from the BIOS and whenever I enter it, Windows Boot Manager is the only thing that is showing. I've also tried disabling secure boot, and in all of the USB ports. I also cannot use Legacy mode as whenever I enable it, I can't boot into Window, therefore it has to be with UEFI. I have even tried changing the boot order in the BIOS to have USB FDD and USB HDD at the top but it always goes straight into Windows.
