I think it might be because i’m using a fairly old version of Spotify (V8.4.39.637) They might have patched the issue from versions 8.4.40 and above. You could try getting an old version of Spotify and using that, otherwise i don’t think i have another answer.

Another reason that may be interesting to note, is that when i first logged in on Spotify, i logged in as a citizen of the united states. Every 14 days or so, it asks me to verify my address, as you can use Spotify only for 14 days while abroad. Now, every 14 days, i use a VPN to login from USA, so I believe the app THINKS that i’m on constant travel.

Try logging in from US, on an older version of the app, or else, use Amazon Prime Music. Its really good, though missing a few features and artists.
