When I saw Gregory’s print, it instantly gave me feelings of light, hope, and peace. That is why I knew I needed to have it in my home to serve as a positive, daily reminder.
I found his print “Beneath” as I was entering a new, daunting chapter of life. To me, the piece was depicting the unknown that lies just beneath the surface of the water, but also showing the woman being willing to face it. Similarly, that new chapter of life felt unknown and uneasy; Gregory’s piece gave me a sense of hope and courage to be ready and willing to face it.
