Sonic was one of my first proper autistic child hyperfixations. Completely obsessed. But I only had Sonic Heroes to play, and Sonic X to watch. I acknowledge neither of those are particularly good Sonic projects, objectively... But I didn't know better. To me they were amazing. I had Sonic shirts, bedding, birthday parties... But I only played Sonic Heroes. Bit weird.

I sure hope they’re actually remaking it, would love to finally experience the game myself

Ya'll be saying Shadow the Hedgehog was a bad game, but It's one of my favorite. Yes, it may be edgy, but I thought that the movement, game design, and gunplay were actually quite good. Such a shame that they never expanded on those gameplay ideas in later spin-offs.
