Raycast is a must-have. It's not just a launcher; it's a way to do things quickly in any app or website. I make Jira tickets through it, lookup notes in Obsidian, install CLI tools with Homebrew, manage a clipboard with the N most recently copied items, and more. It also has as tiling window manager built in, although you might need to spend some time assigning keyboard shortcuts to the commands because I don't think it ships with keybindings by default.

Truth be told, I don't rice that much anymore. Raycast and Warp handle 99% of my annoyances. My .zshrc is now around 50 lines, most of which are aliases, custom environment variables for my programming tools, and convenient shell functions.

you can also add homebrew to macOS and now you've got access to install all linux packages
as a laptop OS i havent found anything more efficient and full featured

Is there a way to customize the trackpad gestures? Also i HATE how there's like a 1 second drag hold on the trackpad.

On a Mac if you lift your finger after drag+hold or highlighting text, it'll continue holding for 1 second after you've lift your finger.. This would be OK back in the day when we had small trackpads but Mac's trackpad is huge.. And they don;t let you disable for some reason.
