1. What is one thing others might find intolerable about them?

He can come off as a bit of a show off at times, or rather, he tends to assume that he knows how to do something more than others at times when that really isn’t the case. He’s also very outward to someone that’s bugged him or gotten on his bad side, like he’ll take the effort to be especially rude to them. And it’s worse when it’s around a group of people because he’ll act just fine to everyone aside from the person he’s cross with.

2. Do they have any annoying quirks? If so, what are they?

He tends to leave his personal things in a mess. Like, he’s the kind of guy that leaves drawers and cabinets open or puts things where he assumes he’ll find them instead of where they were.

3. Name one or more of their bad habits.

Answers to 1 and 2 sum up this.

Though regarding answer 1, depending on his attitude towards someone he’ll keep changing what he calls them. Like if he’s bothered by someone he’s will aquatinted with, he’ll start referring to them in a formal way.

4. Any addictions? (Food, sex, drugs/alcohol, shopping, power/control, etc.)

After the whole situation with the fiancée and Al leaving he did become heavily alcoholic. It did take some time to really snap out of it….

5. What is one thing they do that can negatively affect their relationship with friends?

Henry has a bit of a competitive problem, like he really tries to one-up other people when he really shouldn’t….

6. Their romantic relationships?

Had a fiancée is parents choose for him at a young but as adults she later called it off.

7. What is the biggest mistake they’ve ever made?

WHERE DO I START

I guess probably making/trusting Hyde? Yeah probably you weenie.

8. What mistake(s) do they continue to make/have not learned from?

Being competitive god lord Henry GET OVER YOURSELF

9. Name some of their major physical shortcomings.

Weak and slow, can’t really defend for himself.

10. Some of their emotional shortcomings?

Jealous, competitive, sensitive, difficulties forgiving, awkward and shy with anything romantic…that’s what I got off the bat

11. What are their intellectual shortcomings?

He’s not the best at keeping up with recent trends . Plus he’s never been the artistic type.

12. At least one thing that they tend to overreact to.

Being lied too or learning something about someone that they’ve keep from him. I suppose he always wants to be in the dorm with people he holds dear. He just doesn’t want to be left out.

13. In what ways might they be overly negative and/or pessimistic?

Same as 12.

14. Is there anything they are too optimistic about?

Despite all this shit talk about Henry, he really gives too much for those in need. Like half of it is to satisfy his own personal pride half of the time, but he really does have that kind nature of wanting to help others.

15. How might they be ignorant or prejudiced?

If he believes he’s right about something, he’s unwilling to see the flaws in his view until it comes crashing down on him. He also later in his adulthood held a grudge against upperclass individuals.

16. Do they have any behaviors and/or beliefs that cannot be adequately justified?

I don’t think so….I mean his actions in the story are based off of these flaws but I don’t see most of them as unjustified? I mean sure all these flaws are kinda dumb and annoying, but his intended actions aren’t nearly as bad….(the unintended results are super bad of course.)

17. When would they be too judgmental of someone or something?

Same as 12 again.

18. Are they ever a pushover about something? If so, how?

Helping the less fortunate; that sounds terrible but it takes time before he realizes that he can’t afford to take care of others when he can’t afford to take care of himself first.

19. Is there anything they refuse to budge on? What are they stubborn about?

Being wrong DUMB WEENIE GET OVER IT

20. What is a self-inflicted misery of theirs? (i.e. something they perpetuate themselves)

He certainly has a “won’t take second place” sort of mind set. Henry just wants to feel that he really does have the power to protect those he loves….most of the time he doesn’t. Perhaps he just needs reassurance that he is in fact good…..

on another note, since TSFHJ is based on the novel and what-not, I really want to tag my art onto the "jekyll and hyde" tag. Problem is...I dunno, I just feel like that tag is more reserved for posts regarding the novel, movies, musical and Ms. Sabrina's stuff (since her stuff is well executed and popular on tumblr I suppose it's fair that her story can be tagged under that). I dunno, I just want to be able to promote my stuff more, but I feel like I have no right to use that tag for my story....it'd probably just be an annoyance for people searching on the tag.....
