This was my first year on this competition, actually I enjoyed draw every picture (the order here means nothing I love all of the same way), I felt really inspired while I was reading OCs descriptions and watching their designs. This was a pretty experience 🥲🙃😃

After so much time!! I finally did it!!
Fan art for @quilna s AMAZING “Lying is a love language” fic!!
I’ve been obsessed with it since litterally chapter one and I’ve been wanting to draw fan art ever since,, but I never found the time :(
Plus my iPads broken now, so no digital art for a while :,)
Anyways!
First drawing is basically all of Chapter 9 (my beloved chapter 9 MWAH)
(I’ll re do it digitally asap bc I don’t quite like how it turned out :,) while this other one is just a self indulgent thing I drew while waiting for the next chapter 😭
I loved the scene where Sinnet realized something was wrong but couldn't reach him or do anything about it, it was always so dramatic to me! I just had to make this!
This took about a month to make solely because every time I was done I was like "What if I added more lighting/shading instead?" then I did lol
My only complaint about this piece is that for some reason I did the initial sketch by memory instead of rereading the fic???? So it's a little off ha
Based on the truly incredible story How to Be a Proper Gentleman by Quilna, it’s very well written, has such a fascinating plot and story, and I can’t wait to see what happens next!! <333
I highly recommend reading it (or any other of Quilna’s glass scientists work- I’ve recently realized that nearly all of my favourites were written by them XD)
