Summary
Tired and not in the mood to go the normal route back to his humble abode, Tommy takes a not so safe route and comes across an injured shrike. After getting instantly attached to it he takes it in and plans to care for it like his own.
Little did he know this impulsive act of kindness would result in utter dumbfuckery transpiring and subsequently flipping his life upside down.
It only gets worse when he starts catching the attention of every villain in the area by simply existing.
Tommy just wanted to go home and get some rest…

Tommy risked a glance back—
A shadow stood at the end of the hall.
Something tall. Twisted. Its face—or lack of one—was obscured by darkness, but its limbs stretched impossibly long, fingers dragging along the walls as it took a single step forward.
Not fast.
Not rushing.
It didn’t have to.
The shadow's form flickered, and for a brief moment, Tommy saw something else. Pink hair. A crown of bones. A bored expression glinting with something darker.
The air seemed to scream as every door in the hallway slammed shut in unison.

Ranboo lives in a city full of superheroes, villains, and vigilantes.
Their time is usually taken up by a fairly balanced schedule of hanging out with friends and going out at night as the vigilante Endgate. Certainly different from how things used to be, but he couldn't say he hated it.
But things are about to change up again, and they have to navigate their new life while trying to keep it separated from who they used to be.
What's a villain turned vigilante meant to do when he's given a chance to try figuring out what happened to someone important to him?

Summary
Techno's eyes portrayed something strangely familiar.
He wasn’t looking at him in malice. He did not point at Tommy and laugh, unlike how some of the other hunters had. Barely able to contain their anticipation at the sight of the ticking clock and Tommy’s collection of wrong answers.
No, Techno’s eyes refused to leave his own. Ember red carving molded shapes of themselves into petrified blue, and Tommy could finally place where he’d seen that look before.
It hung off of every street kid in The Pit. Dripped from drugged faces in dingy alleyways at night. He’d seen that look on his very own face, in the harsher of winters or when the lottery grain inevitably ran dry.
Techno’s eyes read that of raw want.
And they were currently fixated on Tommy.
OR:
An altered AU of the hunger games, in which the all powerful Empire hosts the annual Hunt.
An event where teen nobles chase down the unfortunate participants to either claim or sadistically kill.
When Tommy volunteers in place of his best friend, he’s determined to not die off without a fight.
But what happens when his rebellious attitude accidentally catches the attention of a particularly powerful family.
