In my Lanyon takes the potion AU (with Elias, the little fella), Lanyon's mind scape includes both Jekyll and his father :3 not because they represent some perfect thing for him, but bc they're the most influential people in his life. He doesn't really obsess over becoming anything perfect like Jekyll does, nor does he really idolize people. But!!! The silly--- (I need to draw him more fr 💔)Mind Jekyll takes on a few traits from Hyde, since Lanyon knows that Jekyll and Hyde are the same guy and it kinda skews his perception of Jekyll. Thus, mind Jekyll is quite emotionally unstable at times. Otherwise, he's very manipulative, and what I like to call a living sparkle machine, bc holy shit does this guy try to abuse his charm. He acts quite posh, but can sometimes still act very,,, mad sciencey? Idk, he can get a bit unhinged tho, prone to succumbing to his temper if pushed too far or set off by something. Hes definitely not a great guy, especially towards Elias (Lanyon's "Hyde"). He plays very nice at first, charming Elias up, making him feel safe, before finally kinda breaking and becoming the evil little shit he really is :3 he basically wants Elias gone, like Mind Lanyon did with Hyde, except he's much more cruel about it, kinda trying to emotionally destroy poor ol' Elias too. There's this whole little mindscape ballroom scene thing I've rambled about and drawn something for too, under the oc tag for this guy, but yeah, he's not great lmao. He does like Lanyon tho, and is actually kinda genuine nice to him, though he still tries to abuse his charm to get Lanyon on his side about things-- especially the whole "we need to get rid of Elias" thing. Mind Jekyll also plays on Lanyon's fear of potions and sciencey stuff, being kinda sinister with any "creations" of his. He's also quite the charmer around Lanyon's little mindscape ballroom, especially with the women, since Lanyon was scared of Jekyll leaving him for a woman in university teehee.
