i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again.
People that write Mind ‘emotionless’ have fallen for his nonsense. He WANTS you to think that. The entirety of The Mind Electric is him throwing a hissy over how much Heart throws a hissy. Anyone that’s ‘emotionless’ wouldn’t react to as many comments as he does.
I saw someone bring up how he smiles more than Heart does, and that’s saying something. Even if he’s Smiling out of malice, it’s *still* a smile.

okay slightly calmed down a little and have had a thought process time
my main thought is: what was going on in robert's head when hyde was on the other side of that door???
because like. there's a ton of stuff he could have thought in that moment, and I kinda just wanna list whatever I think he might have been thinking at the time:
- hot. (IM SORRY HE WAS REALLY HOT IN THE THIRD PANEL AND I WILL NOT GET OVER IT)
- hyde was impersonating henry the whole time and I've just admitted I love henry to someone who can use this as blackmail. this is a thought that definitely could have crossed his mind, however it probably would have been quickly debunked by the fact that henry was being very henry a few pages ago.
- hyde has done something to henry. very straightforward, valid thought process, very in character for hastie robert lanyon and his edward hyde hating self.
- henry and hyde are working together (sleeping together too? there were rumours...) to play with my feelings for some unknown cruel reason. unlikey thought pattern, not impossible but definitely very improbable for lanyon.
- and, last but not least, hyde and henry are the same person. I don't think lanyon would jump immediately to this conclusion, and definitely not without some solid proof such as seeing a transformation or frankenstein explaining or showing him the notes, but I think he will definitely come to the conclusion at some point very soon.
I also think maybe robert might have been too shocked to have any actual thoughts in that moment, so other contenders are:

It was obvious through the movie, especially during the hallway scene where they're standing side by side, but it's nice to have a written description of their physiques as well. Chris is obviously well-built and very muscular while Leon is described as being pretty and more akin to a model.I'm going to say it again because I love it so much, but I really enjoy the small moments like this that hearken back to the fact that Leon was created to be a foil for Chris. #resident evil
