3 Key Trends in February:
(1) The total detected sorties in February 2025 were 1.5 times those of 2023, median line crossings 3.2 times, and vessel counts approximately 1.4 times those of 2024.
(2) February 2025 saw 2 days with over 40 sorties, bringing the total to 23 since 2023, with most occurring between April and October.
(3) February 2025 had 2 peak periods (30+ sorties) lasting more than 2 consecutive days, bringing the total of such multi-day peak periods to 13 since 2023.
