So, there's been an entity tormenting Arthur since the start of the campaign trying to undermine his sense of identity and generally being a massive asshole.
BUT - putting the pieces together from previous sessions I finally figured out what his greatest insecurity is, and I got to deliver the most satisfying improv anime villain monologue I have ever or will ever give in DND.
(Arthur instantly got fucking hit with Raulothim's Physic Lance for his trouble but MAN was it worth it.) >:,)

I got REALLY carried away making fake time-travel-y historical photos. There's an unspecified story here about a fair in the year 2393, a demolition derby with ferris wheels and crashing the world's colombian exposition.
So - this is the Theurgist!! He explores the cosmos trying to research what might lie beyond the observable universe. (Which basically translates to going around in his TARDIS poking rifts in spacetime with a stick and waiting to see if anything explodes.)
