I draw and redesign them a lot so they're constantly changing, so some of them might change later on, but they do tend to get more and more refined every time as a result.
As for the time period, that's kind of where the worldbuilding I left out of my post comes in. They're actually in the modern day.
Basically, to make this explanation short, their world is broken up into several 'Realms', each one has a different level of what technology it can hold compared to the levels of magic. The main one that Jekyll and Hyde are in, and most of the plot, is called Doyle and it's basically the steampunk world. Low magic but not exactly high levels of technology either. It sort of has put them perpetually in the Victorian era (with some more magical changes) but access to other Realms means they can still be aware of technology and science even if they can't use it, like knowing about bacteria and medicine.
Just a good way for me to not worry about getting historically accurate clothing for everyone~
And yeah!!! Lanyon's my favourite besides Jekyll and Hyde themselves! Genderfluid and ready to cause trouble~ (As long as it's reasonable trouble within the constraints of the law and not dangerous or harmful to anyone-)
