I don't want to be even more pessimistic, but if the lightbulb doesn't work and some powerfull ones in the room still want some light, they are likely to start a fire unless we prevent them.

@helenczerski Makes me think of a calibration manual for the CO2 sensor i bought some years ago. It mentioned that automatic calibration required periodic exposure to "normal ambient level of 400ppm".
It is amazing how people with no evidence continue to tell us stories about global warming.
It is astonishing how Florida is going to disappear due to global warming but martha's vineyard has no change in sea level.

Yes, Climate Heating. But look at all that shareholder value.
And big corporations are steered by money nobles (or oligarchs, whatever you want to call them). They set the agenda of the corporations thanks to the money they invest into them by owning their shares or being directly invested.
Sadly nothing will change until the common people start to realize that you have to remove those oppressors, who not only steer corporations but also influence public opinion through media and agencies, change policies as they need by buying out politicians, etc.
Be it peacefully or violently.
Oh, and by the way, it's not just the climate that is affected by their quest of greed. Poverty, wars, low education, bad healthcare and so much more are also heavily influenced, if not entirely caused by them and their shenanigans.

to protect the billionaire class and go after SS & Medicare to reduce $35 trillion deficit. Trump added $7.8 trillion deficit with huge tax cuts in 2017 to wealthy, corporate America and the Wall Street. It seems like middle classTrump voters don't care for their own well-being.

Second bit: How many people does it need to fix the climate? None, because bright children will solve it.
Clearly, both are nonsense.
