Greatest Five is the strongest Dual Crush in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. It can only be obtained in a room after defeating the Doppelganger at the end of the Nest of Evil, and involves summoning the spirits (or the Vampire Killer's memories) of Richter, Leon, Trevor, Juste and Simon Belmont to attack. Each one will unleash a powerful whiplash when he appears onscreen. When the animation ends, the cumulative damage of each strike will be added into one single hit, dealing massive Strike and Holy damage to all enemies. Costs 250 MP per cast.

Summon four[sic] legendary warriors to join the battle. | Attrib: Strike, Holy Consume: 250 MP |
Find: Nest of Evil (...) |
Effect: Suspends the enemies' actions for a while and the duo will summon the five greatest Belmonts to attack. |
Notes[]
- Unlike most other Dual Crushes, Greatest Five won't provide invincibility while it is active. Instead, time will be temporarily frozen and will resume when the animation finishes, so it is better to find a safe spot before casting it, or make sure the enemies won't survive.

Trivia[]
- The description erroneously states that Greatest Five summons four warriors, when it actually summons five. This error is not present in the original Japanese version, which simply states the attack "summons the might of great warriors to the present day" without mention of number.
- As Leon was originally from a 3D game, this is the only instance within a Castlevania title where he appears in 2D sprite form.
- Both Trevor and Simon have a chance to appear as their original 8-bit sprites.
- Trevor's 16-bit sprite is a recolored version of Fake Trevor's sprite in brown tones in order to match the color of his NES sprite.
- Simon's 16-bit sprite resembles his appearance on the box art of the original Castlevania. His NES sprite has his whip recolored to match his 16-bit sprite's one.
- Juste's sprite is the only one that doesn't have any change, being the same as in Harmony of Dissonance.
- It was thought of a story where there was a low probability that a young Julius Belmont would be summoned from the future and the name of the attack would be changed to "The Greatest Six", although this was not done.[1]
- Even though he is part of the Belmont family lineage and a revered hero in Simon's era who defeated Dracula two times (unlike Juste, who only defeated a wraith of him), Christopher Belmont does not appear in this attack.
- The programmer Shūtarō Īda revealed that Christopher was not present in the attack because he chose the Belmonts to his liking, and also because it was easier for him to tell the designers to draw the character he chose this way.[2]

It should've been six, it's not fair that they left out Christopher. :c
Does anyone else think it's weird how this does Hammer and Light damage instead of Whip and Light damage? I feel like it is cause of the way how Whip is actually a damage type in PoR
I'd like to see a full sprite sheet for Simon and Trevor in the style depicted. Trevor would borrow from fake Trevor, but Simon probably has to have one from scratch
Actually, the Greatest Five graphic for Trevor is the same as one of Fake Trevor's, just with a different palette.
christopher defeated dracula 2 times, He should be there instead of juste, since juste only defeated dracula's wraith
I think they went with Juste rather than Christopher because he had a more recent sprite handy
I think Juste is strong too, as he literally defeated Dracula when he wasn't even ready to be reborn
A lack of a recent sprite is no excuse when they included a character who had only ever appeared in 3D.
Don't forget Sonia Belmont
Castlevania Legend is not canonical to the original timeline, therefore Sonia cannot appear in the Greatest Five.
That's why Leon Belmont is there
No Christopher Belmont??!??! What a shame.
I know right, they gave Christopher the short end of the stick.
