Hyde d7 and Jekyll c1? or whomever you want with those if you would rather draw someone else.
Oh no worries, these two certainly work for me!
I hope the after credit scene in Civil War goes like this:
Bruce Banner walks out of a forest looking dusty and unshaven, but relaxed. He makes his way towards a lone gas station, the only building in sight. Outside there’s a news stand. As Bruce approaches, there’s a close up shot of a headline about the civil war. He puts the paper down and walks right back into the forest.

“The Black and White Picture Book”
Once upon a time, there lived a white dove and a black dove.
The white dove loved the sunflower.
The black dove loved the sunflower, too.
What a beautiful sunflower it was.
It was as warm and bright as the sun itself.
The sunflower would go out and play with the doves all day long.
But one day, the sunflower made friends with a star.
And after that, the sunflower always went out at night.
Without the sunflower, as bright as the sun, to light them, the days became dark.
The white dove knew how nice the night star was, and became sad, and more sad, and cried.
The black dove thought the night star should turn into a shooting star and go disappear somewhere far away.
Things would be better then.
But in the end, both doves froze in the darkness and died.
Poor doves.
Poor doves.
It is so difficult to talk about emotional abuse because it is so much bigger than the sum of its parts. The everyday instances, when isolated, seem so insignificant and commonplace that you feel it’s not worth mentioning at all. When you do try to articulate it, it sounds so juvenile, and others will not hesitate to point this out to you.
But within the context of somebody with power over you, somebody you trust using these small moments as tools to strategically wear you down to absolutely nothing, it is suffocating. It overwhelms you and you find you cannot see the forest for the trees and when you try to fight back, try to tell them exactly what they are, the only thing you can do is cite isolated incidents. And they will laugh in your face. And you fear everyone else will, too.
This is why it takes years before you can speak up at all, years before you realize what it all added up to and how it has broken you.
Please listen to victims of abuse. Listen hard. And read between the lines.

To the limitless sky
Open a book, open your mind
This world is boundless
So let your imagination fly—–Happy almost Thanksgiving, everyone!I grew up in a small apartment in China and was raised by my grandparents. When I’m not studying or doing homework, I would go into the office/storage room where all the books are kept and flip through all the books about animals. The photos and illustrations of all the different species always fascinated me and inspired me to learn, understand, and draw the world around me. It gave me a glimpse beyond the rundown apartments and the grey skies of China that I grew up in. Even though the storage room was no bigger than a bathroom, with those books, the walls opened up and the world became boundless. midorilied reblogged myfavfandom goldvsmold Follow Boycott “The Forest” and watch the documentary, “Aokigahara: Suicide Forest”, instead.Aokigahara: Suicide Forest:Educates viewers about Aokigahara and the issue of suicide in JapanIt’s a documentary so everything stated is based on facts. The Forest:Romanticizes and trivializes suicide, death and the Aokigahara forest which is a real forest in Japan where people go to commit suicide. In fact, suicides in the forest are still happening today so it is extremely disrespectful. It’s been happening for the last 30 years—over 100 bodies are found in Aokigahara every year.Suicide in Japan is a national crisis. The mental health stigma in Japan is horrible. The film is set in Japan but the main cast is dominantly white with a white female blonde lead. Not only that, it also doesn’t mention depression. This then leads to ableist erasure of Asian people, especially Japanese people, with mental health issues. The film perpetuates the model minority myth which assumes that Asians are universally intelligent or rich, are able-bodied and don’t suffer from mental illness. Everybody believes Asians are rich and smart enough to access healthcare when in fact, this isn’t true at all.Instead of talking about the real important issues happening today, Hollywood took the tragedies of the Aokigahara forest suicides and turned them into a Hollywood horror movie which in turn, dehumanizes not only Asians around the globe affected by mental health, but those who have already committed suicide. Please do not see The Forest in the cinemas. Do not buy tickets to see it. A terrible movie does not deserve any support.#suicide mention#I have so much salt for this film tbh71,598 notes
midorilied reblogged danktoesthesequel-deactivated20 writeydoos Writing Rules: Keep It TenseReaders can be very fickle, and they have every right to be. They’re looking for a good time. They want an adventure of some sort that they can invest themselves in and enjoy. At their core, readers are seeking entertainment. And it’s our job as writers to entertain them. If we bore them for even a second, no one can blame them if they lose interest. There’s an endless supply of other books out there, along with a million other things they could be doing.Having all that competition might seem pretty daunting, but no worries, friends. Keeping your reader’s mind from wandering is actually pretty simple. All you have to do is create enough tension.Tension is the driving force that keeps readers glued to your pages. It’s what keeps them up too late because they can’t put your book down. Without solid tension, your audience will get bored. They will lose interest. And there’s a good chance they won’t ever finish reading your story.Your story should be soaked in tension. On every single page. That’s right. All of them.GIF by bricesanderBefore I go on, let’s just go ahead and establish what I really mean when I say tension. Because I don’t want anyone mistakenly thinking I mean action. Action does not automatically create tension. Violence does not automatically create tension. Explosions, gun fights, monster attacks, and gory deaths do not automatically create tension. You can throw all these things at me, plus jetpacks, and still lose my interest.Tension is a mixture of several different elements that come together to hold the reader’s attention. Tension is made up of good characterization, high stakes, dilemmas, questions, and changes. Of course, there are many other things that can be used to create tension–these are just your MVPs.Now, let’s break this ingredient list down a little.Good Characterization
This one is obvious, but also so damn important. You should always strive to develop dynamic, engaging characters. Give your readers an interesting character they can bond with and care about. I won’t go too deeply into this one, since I’ve already done several other posts specifically about characterization, which can be found here. Of course, if you have any lingering questions, feel free to ask.High Stakes
Ask yourself what your character has to lose. What do they care about? What are they passionate about? Now, threaten to take that from them. Do it again and again until your character will certainly be a broken person if they happen to fail. Every new thing that your character could potentially lose will raise the stakes and keep the tension high.Dilemmas
These are the tough choices your character has to make. There’s no easy-out to save them. This choice has to be made, and there should be a very real chance that whatever they choose will have profoundly negative consequences.Questions
Your reader should always have questions they want answered–about the characters, the world, the conflict, or what have you. And you should always give them those answers. Just not right away. Make them wait. Feed them the less important answers early on and save the tastiest revelations until much later.Changes
Never let your character get too comfortable. Knock them off balance with some big changes. Whether it’s new people, new places, experiences, or whatever, make them face changes that will force your character to struggle and evolve. All in all, make an engaging character and make them struggle and fight. Let them lose things and make bad choices and be transformed by their journey. Give your reader all this, and they’ll lose sleep for your book. And here’s a little bonus tip before I go. When creating tension, keep Murphy’s Law in mind. Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Don’t give your characters a break. There’s no time for relaxing when there are readers to entertain.Happy writing, lovelies#clemy clue q#writing ref#long post3,835 notes

Anyways; on to the important stuff– which is thanking all of you for another wonderful year of Space School!
A lot happened for the comic this year! The biggest being the fact that we finally started double updating which has been huge for me and the comic. Wowsa. Thank you again to all of my Patrons for making this happen by the way!
All of you have given me such amazing support and feedback this year and I can’t thank you enough for that. Seeing the comic grow each year is just amazing and meeting new readers who find their own things to love about the story just like I do is just– it brings me such pure happiness I can’t even explain.
I’m hoping 2016 will be even bigger and better for Space School and I can’t wait to show you all some really fun and spooky stuff this year.
Thank you all so so much again for your support and kindness.
