Its been a tough few days recently for me so I’ll do my best to catch up. For now I’ll continue the Super Mario art with a Bob-omb. Wind it up and watch it go! And yes I misspelled it on the card

Inktober Day 1: Astrid Dozing
Been a few months since I did drawing on paper. But feels good to get back to your roots, especially on notecards.
Took a spur of inspiration from @rapid-artwork and their colored sketch technique. Pretty good all things considered, May try this out more in the future.
Glad I got this sketch out before bed. I pictured one of the first confrontations that Astrid and Kaia will have along the way. For one reasons of many they have boiling blood between the both of them.
I was struggling with the right placements for the poses since the bodies were at 3/4 and the heads in profile. Worked it out well all things considered. Kaia’s height and Astrid’s build came out better than I thought, not mention her workout clothes were something new to tryout.

I liked the previous sketch to much to leave it at that. A quick flat color and I call it good!
