I am deeply uncomfortable with the idea that intersect gets a giant pile of money and then gets to unilaterally decide how to distribute it. This is the mandate of the Dreps who are elected by the entire community. When I first got involved in this process, the idea was intersect would act as an oversight entity, not the decider of RFPs.
Intersect has absolutely no track record and is not fit to be an agency to decide winners and losers for bids.
I will lobby very passionately against any budget that puts Intersect in this role.
