The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the Mighty Meowscarada event. This event has Meowscarada appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Grass Tera Type. As with all past 7 Star Raid events, players can only catch one Meowscarada from raids per save file

Pokémon UNITE has received a small update which adds a variety of things to the game.
First, the new Battle Pass is now live which gives new Holowear for Ho-Oh and Scizor.
Remoat Stadium is now back as the stage for Ranked Battles for the next two weeks.
Finally, the brand new mode, First to 500, is now live. This mode was introduced in the Pokémon World Championships last year and has two teams battle until they have 500 Points, but with a variety of special items to aid in the gameplay. Ahead of Pokémon GO Tour Global, Niantic have announced the special Adventure Effects that Black Kyurem and White Kyurem can use when they know certain moves. These moves are obtained when you fuse a Kyurem that knows Glaciate with Reshiram or Zekrom. These effects require Kyurem Candy to activate and will last a short amount of time, but you can use more Candy to prolong the effect.
Black Kyurem's Freeze Shock move has the adventure effect where it makes Pokémon immobilized and thus easier to capture for the duration of the effect
White Kyurem's Ice Burn move has the adventure effect where it will make the capture circle move slower for the duration of the effect
Players who participated in the GO Tour localevents can get these effects as of the Road to Unova event while all other players can get it from GO Tour Global

This competition also gives 100,000 League Points, a Gold Bottle Cap and an Ability Patch to all players who complete 3 or more battles

Niantic have announced a special event for Latin America. This event is the Carnival of Friends. This event runs from March 3rd through March 7th in Latin America and the Caribbean
During this event, there will be 2* Catch Experience and 2* Experience and Stardust from gifts. Incense will also last 2 hours
Bellsprout, Goldeen, HItmontop, Lotad, Carvanha, Snivy, Scorbunny and Quaxly will be attracted to Incense during the event
Maractus will be in Field Research
A Collection Challenge will be live to get experience, Stardust and Alolan Marowak
There will be Timed Research which gives experience, Stardust and encounters with Jangmo-o, Scorbunny and Quaxly

Pokémon Sleep has announced a special promotion to commemorate Pokémon Day. On Februry 26th, all players will receive *1.5 Drowsy Power for their sleep research for the day.

Pokémon UNITE
Pokémon UNITE has pushed some news about some coming updates for the game. These updates will start on February 27th, Pokémon Day
The first of which will contain the first of the features added in the Chinese version of the game and will include a new battle mode. More features from the Chinese version will be brought over to the game over time
To celebrate Pokémon Day, for two weeks Remoat Stadium will be back as the Ranked Match stage from February 27th through March 13th
There will be adjustments to various elements including Matchmaking as well as making sure that play is fair and players are punished for inappropriate behaviour. This includes abandoning the game, play that gives the opposing team an advantage such as intentionally getting KO'd, interfering with teammates and excessive use of Quick Chat

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day Classic on March 22nd will focus on Totodile. This event will 25% Hatch Distance and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
It will also give out the move Hydro Cannon to Feraligatr.
The Special Background Timed Research will also be live for this event running for a week to give a Totodile with a background. There will also be paid Special Research to get three encounters of Totodile with the background and more encounters with Totodile
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone

Niantic have announced more details for Pokémon GO Tour: Unova on March 1st & March 2nd
During the event, you will pick between two Special Research stories. You pick between Black (Reshiram) and White (Zekrom) which determines Special Research rewards and which Kyurem is guaranteed to get Glaciate after battling in raids: Black Kyurem for Black Version and White Kyurem for White Version
There will be several new avatar items in the Tour Pass. The first reward will be the GO Tour 2025 Tee while players who purchase the Tour Pass Deluxe will get a Kyurem Hat as they progress. You will also be able to buy Black Kyurem Wings and a White Kyurem backpack from the in-game store
A Shiny Meloetta Tee will be available in the Masterwork Research available from the Road to Unova event
In the Road to Unova event, with the Raid add-on ticket, you will get the Black and White Joggers items. In the Hatch Add-On, you'll get the Black & White Hoodie Avatar item

Pokémon GO - Raid Day
The latest Raid Day is rolling out in Pokémon GO. For three hours in each region, Hoopa Unbound will appear in Raids on each Gym in the area. In addition to that, Hoopa Unbound's form can now be changed to Hoopa Confined regardless on if you completed the Research in 2021, and Hoopa Unbound can now be sent to Pokémon HOME
With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day.
A paid ticket is also available that gives increased experience as well as another 8 additional free Raid Passes from Gyms.
It runs from 2pm to 5pm in your local time.

The Pokémon Company have revealed all the cards for the coming Starter Sets featuring Marnie's Pokémon and Steven's Pokémon, which are due for release in Japan next week. These cards include more of their Pokémon including Marnie's Scrafty and Steven's Skarmory.
