Since Henry and I share a birthday, I thought of drawing him as my little birthday present 😊.

Hi! I really love TSFHJ but I was wondering something about the website. When I try to go onto the CAST page it only loads a handful of the pictures - I can't view the rest of the profiles, either on my phone or my computer. Is there a tumblr post you have of all the character profiles? Thank you in advance and keep up the great work!
Actually I just updated the Cast Page with new characters! You can view them here.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention, I hadn’t noticed that some of the profiles weren’t appearing.

Happy birthday Midori!! I love your art, your story and you so much, I hope that one day I'll be able to come and talk to you, but I think I'm just too shy for that- Anyway, have a great day!
Aww, well, thanks a ton- I’ll look forward to it, then!
remember that The Search for Henry Jekyll fanart I made? here’s the process video!

So I took advantage of Snowmageddon here in the Northeast to do a little cosplay of Hyde! (with Utterson’s scarf of course)
Aww, you look awesome! Thank you so much for showing me!

Anonymous asked:
I don't know if you do it before but, did u imagine Jekyll as Lycanroc midday form and Hyde as Lycanroc midnight form?
Heh, tbh Henry wouldn’t be cool enough to be Lycanroc.
Hyde would love the crap out of the midnight form though.

Ya can’t even see her face, but with the help of a reference I wanted to draw @midorilieds’ characer Annmarie Sing in some modern-day clothes! Took about an hour and a half I think, I wasn’t keeping tabs on the time - fun lil practice!
Anonymous asked:
I'm confused about the last three pages before the newest cover- could you explain them please?
I always sorta wanted to talk about about Henry’s college days but never had a place for it, so I did this short instead. Hope that makes sense.

Any of you folks miss Randall? This’ll be a big chapter for him!
Also keep in mind that it’s a monthly patron system so whatever amount you pledge is only collected monthly. Which also means that you could contribute $1 and still get rewards as they come and it would only be $12 for a year! (Also you can back out anytime, you never have to feel inclined to stay if you can’t.) Hope that helps explain things for those who were less certain.)

gabrielied Follow Anonymous asked:What would you think of meeting your fans? I mean, if one day you would have the opportunity to meet them all, I guess the answer is obvious, but what would you do? What if they were cosplayed into TSFHJ characters? ...Anyway, give me a hug. It’d honestly be really sweet to meet fans! I suppose it might just be a surreal experience at first, because it’s really hard to tell how many people/ how much people care about my work from here.#gab talks#Anonymous6 notes

gabrielied reblogged gabrielied Follow onchyrynchus-deactivated2017121 asked:Any advice for someone who wants to start a webcomic?gabrielied answered:Ok, for starters, I just want to say that whatever advice I give you should be taken with a grain of salt. What worked for me may not precisely work for you so it’s absolutely fine if you feel like some of it is not up your alley.Have at least the beginning and ending of your comic figured out. This doesn’t mean that you have to have a detailed explanation to how it begins and ends- there are small things that I’ve changed with the ending of TSFHJ, but the general idea of it is still the same. Basically, I feel like as long as you know how it starts and where it will end up, you can figure out how it will get there. Even with cases where you might just have some various scenes in mind but don’t precisely have them all connected can be enough. I believe that just because you don’t have every little detail of the story ready doesn’t mean you shouldn’t start it. Figure out a general design for how your webcomic will look.To me, this means have finalized designs of the main characters, so they won’t look different from page to page (I know that styles change and evolve for an artist, and this includes me, but I just mean that you still know who is who in the older pages versus the new). I also believe you should have a base design for your pages- is each page frame by frame? Does it consist of multiple panels per page? This also means that you keep the same dimensions for every page (like, maybe each page is 8′x11′, etc.).Post some artwork/info on the comic prior to uploading the actual story. Before I actually started posting TSFHJ out, I posted random drawings of/about the characters and story, which gained some attention. This helped ensure that I had some people interested before I uploaded the actual series.Decide where you will post your comic. When I was first figuring things out, I had a very well off teacher that insisted that I had to get a personal website with a custom link and design and all this other fancy crap that I couldn’t afford and would be a waste of time if no one knew my work. Fortunately, a good friend of mine helped teach me about smackjeeves and that has worked pretty well for me since then. Smackjeeves is free to post on and has a few basic designs for your site that are easy to work with, but I know other people that will post pages on tumblr or deviantART. It might work for you, but considering the sketchiness of deviantART that I’ve seen, I wouldn’t recommend uploading your webcomic there. (I advertise there, but that’s about it.) If you post pages on tumblr, I’d just recommend that you have a specific blog just for posting pages.Anyway, that’s some general thoughts that come to mind, I hope that helps!#day reblog#long post
