This change in material was made to resolve a problem that was discovered during development. Below we explain the background and reasons that led to the change.

■Product materials as of October 20, 2023 (pre-order start date)
We had been proceeding with the development of the Faiz Phone 20 Plus with the plan to use die-cast parts only around the movable axis of the knuckle grip.
During the development process, the socket part of the driver and the entire grip of the Faizphone were changed to die-cast specifications.
■Friday, April 12, 2024: Development blog
At this point in time, the grip socket, which was still under development, was still a die-cast specification.

Reason for changing product material (from die-cast to plastic)
① Scratches caused by friction with the socket
When setting up the Faiz Phone, the die-cast part of the socket collided with the plastic part of the phone, causing scratches.
② Problems when setting up the Faiz Phone
→Due to the weight of the socket and phone, the socket tilts before the phone can fully fit into the socket, making it difficult to insert the phone.
To address the above issue, the die-cast parts in the affected areas have been changed to plastic parts.
