Something came over me and I had to draw a fully inked and color smooch between Al and Henry. Enjoy.
Couldn’t resist drawing Henry and Al as cats!
Through this, I learned Henry is allergic to cats. IMO, he will spend his whole scientific career trying to cure this, avoiding creating Hyde in the first place, just to continue to pet Al.
I’ve thought (very briefly) about a Modern AU with these two and the story would revolve around them being reincarnations of Battam and Sal from the past and suddenly they both start having visions and flashbacks of each other– which totally freaks Sal out and he doesn’t believe it, so Battam slowly coaxes him into getting to know him better.
Battam would be the one to start having them first and he seeks Sal out (thru the internet or something).
Battam makes potions with his Mom (who is alive in the AU, and why is a spoiler for the main plot so I won’t say) and Sal works in a Kitchen he’s too good for and can’t stop smoking. (Battam helps/makes him stop, haha)
But yeah! It’s pretty fun and I might turn it into a one chapter thing sometime along the line, but for now it’s just a fun idea since I’ve got so much to focus on with the main chapters and such.
Whoa! Seeing this whole post is a blast from the past. It’s so fun to see that I actually went through with this and made a VN-- though Sal smoking wasn’t a big part of the plot and poor Violana didn’t end up alive, omg.
I love how projects often come out of tiny little doodles like this, all it takes is a spark!
