We are just about to head into the last week of the Kickstarter campaign! I have one final stretch goal I would love to reach: if I can raise 18000$, I can afford to hire a colorist for TWO chapters of the upcoming Bleeding Heart comic! I think we can make it, you guys!!
I would like to take a quick general poll! As you know, backers of every reward tier will receive a digital copy of Bleeding Heart. Since digital files do not have to deal with printing and shipping times, they will be available quite a while before the print editions will arrive. For those of you who have ordered a physical copy of the book, would you prefer to receive the digital PDF earlier, or receive the digital book and physical book at the same time (to avoid spoilers)? If you have a strong preference one way or another, please leave a comment in this update!
working on cover highlights- look out Henry, there's a black hole behind you D:
Lastly, should you be looking for other nerdy Kickstarter campaigns to support, I might suggest:
The Boston Metaphysical Society: An ex-Pinkerton detective and his spirit photographer partner battle supernatural forces in late 1800's Boston.
Punnies: A large format book of visual puns with poems, designed for all ages, to delight and entertain.

Digital please, so I don't have to wait for the story but still want the comic in my hands when it's ready to ship. ^_^

I'm a hard copy girl, but I have no objection if the digital comes out first. That way those who like digital can open then and read , while I wouldn't open mine til after i read the hard copy. For me it's a win-win. :-)

Digital first. I read the digital files. My husband reads the physical or I donate to local libraries or my nephew whose mom is a librarian. So no spoilers for me to worry about other than making my husband impatient to read LOL.

I'd love the digital copy first. :)

I would like digital first. I could read it digital and then have the experience of reading my hard copy when it arrives to me. I'm really excited!

I tend to wait to read the physical copy, so sending the digital copy early doesn't spoil it for me - I simply don't open the file. :-)

I know there a lot of folks who like the digital thing, but I'm a hard copy girl. Note, both are cool, and I don't have a problem with spoilers. I read my favorite graphic stories over and over and over on line and off. You can never "spoil" a good story as far as I'm concerned.

Do as you want but I will wait for the physical copy to read the story.

I'd prefer to get the digital copy along with the physical copy. Can't be having any spoilers, and there's nothing like holding the real thing and reading it!
Comic Chameleon
I'd like to get the digital copy first. I simply cannot wait to get the full book to read it- I cannot! *faints dramatically* Though, being serious, I do want to read it as soon as possible, and leave myself a little more time for embarrassing happy-dances when the book arrives.

Digital first, please. Thank you.

The digital copy first. Receiving the printed copy will still be great because there's nothing like holding something real in your hands.

I would like to receive the Digital copy first.

Digital version first please ...

I don't mind getting the digital copy sooner :)

Prefer it before the physical copy :)

Honestly I'm fine either way. For another comic Kickstarter I backed they sent the digital copy way before the physical copy was shipped out, and I just downloaded and saved it but never read it coz I didn't want to be spoiled and preferred to wait for the physical copy anyhow.
