The idea of this article is to show how pie charts and graphs enhance the value of scientific research papers. I’ve demonstrated how we can create these visualizations using simple tools and libraries.

To achieve this, I’ve used scripts and tools to generate different types of charts and graphs. For demonstration, I’ve taken geographical data, including rivers, population, cities, pollution, etc. to present high-quality data visualizations suitable for scientific research papers

1. Chord Diagram

I think a Chord Diagram is the best graphical representation for geographical elements like rivers, roads, and water channels that pass from one region to another. For example, I’ve taken Indian rivers to showcase how their water flows through multiple states while being shared. Take the Godavari River, which originates in Madhya Pradesh and then flows through Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh.

I gathered data from Wikipedia, fed it into Python, and used the Plotly library to create this valuable visualization. So, if you’re working on a project, a scientific research paper, or any academic work, you can achieve…
