Katana Immersive LLC, a subsidiary of Katana Co., Ltd. (Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; CEO: Morioka Takeshi), will launch the 13th new attraction, "Alice in Borderland: Immersive Death Game," at Immersive Fort Tokyo, the world's first* immersive theme park, which opened in Odaiba, Tokyo in March, on Friday, July 19, 2024.
The new attraction "Alice in Borderland: Immersive Death Game" is the world's first experiential attraction based on the world of the Netflix series "Alice in Borderland," a live-action adaptation of the original manga "Alice in Borderland" (published by Shogakukan in Shonen Sunday Comics) by Aso Haro. The series has been distributed to over 190 countries and regions worldwide, making it into the top 10 in over 90 of those countries and regions.
In the Netflix series "Alice in Borderland," Alice, who had been living a carefree life, gets lost in a parallel dimension where she is forced to play one unreasonable game after another and fight for her life with her rabbit friends. This original attraction requires all participants to wear a "collar bomb" that also appeared in the drama series. If they cannot remove the collar within the time limit, they will be shocked by the unexpected shock and experience a "super stimulating" immersive experience. You will feel as if you are immersed in the world of the drama series and experience a life-or-death death game. The footage in this attraction was produced by the staff of the Netflix series "Alice in Borderland."
This attraction will be available in four languages: Japanese, English, Chinese (Simplified), and Chinese (Traditional), aiming to attract fans of the Netflix series "Alice in Borderland" from all over the world and increase inbound visitors.
