wf.z64 (beta) - is an area in B3313.
Description[]
A more primitive version of Whomp's Fortress, lacking numerous enemies and objects and having a black skybox. Upon entering the course, the player is greeted with the message "OBJECTIVE- GET STAR". Upon trying to touch the star at the top of the tower, they are teleported to the second half of the course.
Origins[]
This area is a darkened version of Mountain with textures taken from the Shoshinkai build. As the name implies, this area is based on jefftastic's "creepypasta" hack, sm64.z64. The music is a slowed down version of the "Main Theme" track from the vanilla game's OST, with missing instruments.
Warps[]
Leading here[]
- lobby.z64 (beta): Jump into the single painting in the lobby.
- Whomp's Fortress (Beta): Stand in the owl cage.
- Whomp's Kingdom: Stand in the owl cage.
Leading away[]
- wf.z64: Touch the star at the top of the tower.

A lone Goomba spawned in. Is this normal???
You have difficult PVs so enemies like this Purple Goomba can spawn everywhere.
Ah, i only thought red bob-ombs could spawn anywhere, thanks!
What's with the vhs filter?
Most likely VHSPRO shader you can find on retroarch preinstalled
Strangely, I ended up here instead of Beta Lobby B's Whomp's Fortress after grabbing a star there. What happened?
Nevermind. As it would turn out, I was sent to wf.z64. Also learnt that this occurrence is already labeled and documented on the wiki. Lmao I'm stupid
Why tf is this level called mt.z64? what does mt stand for? at leas wf.z64 makes sense as it is whomps fortress.
I think MT stands for "Mountain", since that was the beta version's name, and mt.z64 is based on the beta version, not Whomp's Fortress.
