Senate GOP Plans Repeal of Biden’s Methane Fee, More Oil Leasing

US Senate Republicans are proposing to repeal a fee on methane emissions included in former President Joe Biden’s signature climate law and calling for more oil and gas lease sales in a fast-track budget bill that will be exempt from the chamber’s filibuster rule.
