Bluestar has announced it will be launching a new bus service in Southampton.
From Sunday, February 23, the Bluestar 19 will be split into two routes, the 19 and the 19a, to bring a direct bus service to Winchester Road and Hill Lane.
The new 19a will travel along Hill Lane, Winchester Road, Dale Road and Tremona Road between Southampton Central Station and Coxford Road.

It will also follow the same route as the number 19 which will continue to serve its current route.
Together, the two services will continue to offer a 15 minute frequency to Lordshill, Southampton General Hospital, Southampton Central Station, the city centre and further afield.
The 19a will also be providing customers a 30 minute frequency for stops via Hill Lane and the 19 providing a 30 minute frequency for stops served via Shirley Road.
