Fake Lobby is an area in B3313.
Description[]
The area looks almost exactly like Vanilla Lobby but most of the doors are locked up and the lighting of the room is different - with more shadows instead of the flat light of the Vanilla Lobby. Additionally, the stairs leading to the double door at the top are missing, replaced by a singular stair. The back door leads to a small room instead of outside.
Origins[]
The area is taken directly from the E3 1996 build of Super Mario 64.
The music playing is the "Inside Castle" theme from the vanilla game's OST.
Warps[]
Two-way[]
- Crescent Castle: Go through the double door at the back normally leading to Castle Grounds and then the one in the small room.
- Floor 2B: Go through the double door normally leading to Vanilla Upstairs.
Leading away[]
- Mario's Maze: Ground-pound the sun carpet in the main room.
- (0.5.6) Bowser's Castle: Ground-pound the sun carpet in the main room.
Version History[]
- v0.5.6
- Added Fake Lobby
Gallery[]
Trivia[]
- As only the surface of the walls is modeled, it is easy to get out-of-bounds in the area, by e.g. hanging on the "inside" of a door.
- Jumping into the Peach window crashes the game in version 0.9
