Description[]
The area's large main room has a checkerboard floor with doors leading to three rooms, one a rec room with a back area, and two hallways with doors at the ends. The hallway to the left of the elevated door leads to an underwater tunnel connecting the main room to an art gallery with several paintings.
The art gallery can also be reached on foot, as can a meandering passageway that eventually leads to Floor 2B's convoluted lower level. A single star can be found on the lower level, along with exits to several other areas of the castle.
Origins[]
The area's layout was inspired by several independent sources, such as videos by Pointnclick14, BlackJoystick and Annielogue. "Floor 2B" is also an element of the infamous Super Mario 64 Iceberg. The rec room is a recreation of the rec room appearing in SM64DS, with some creative liberties. Textures are taken from the vanilla Super Mario 64 and the E3 beta version. The maze section added in Christmas Build resembles the maze seen in "tape3.mp4" by TheBob.
The music playing is an arrangement of "Inside Castle Walls" from Super Mario 64.
Stars[]
This area has 1 star to collect:
- On the lower level, travel north then east to find an enclosed garden with a Peach portrait, and break the wooden crate. In v0.9 and Unabandoned, this was a red star.
Warps[]
Two-way[]

- Fake Lobby: In the main room, go down the hallway to the left of the Peach painting, then through the double doors.

In 0.8, there is a FUCK texture, if you view using ROM Manager. I couldn't view in 0.9 and newer as these have a mechanism/or patch, that we all have no idea about how it works that prevents you from opening it in ROM Manager and etc even though the game was made in ROM Manager and etc.
Whoever's been making maps for some of the floors and lobbies, THANK YOU.
What does B in 2B, 3B, and 4B mean there isn't 1B. At first, I thought it was Basement 2 and Basement 3 but these floors are not basements based on location. So is it supposed to be like B as in alternate to the regular second and third floor (A)?
I don't think it's supposed to make physical sense. The names in this wiki seem derived from various beta/rumour/meme/personalization/iceberg/creepypasta sources over the years.
Consider that the highest exit from "Plexal Upstairs" goes to "Underground Passageway". You could probably try to contrive a spatial map of everything, but a main point of the game is to mess with your sense of spatial awareness, so I think there's intentionally no way to reconcile the relative positions of all these maps.
That said, looking into the lore slightly, it does seem that the B is supposed to mean Basement, despite not visually or physically making much sense as a basement. https://sm64-conspiracies.fandom.com/wiki/Princess_Peach%27s_Castle/Floor_2B
For some reason this room reminds me of dementia. Like someone with dementia trying to remember something familiar but their memory is warped and fading. Its probably the slowed down music.
Yeah, and the familiar rooms such as the rec room from SM64DS, as well as the textures from the vanilla game. It feels like it would be in SM64, but you know it's not.
Can you please change this floor so it may look smaller, fix the tilesets (evening tileset and floor tiles should be colored like it's colored), and please make sure this area looks like the floor from Promo Show. I would love if this area brought back the anomalous Sun level and the gallery area. This area would look a lot cooler and should connect to floor 3B (Spoiler: It's a maze)
Sorry if I was doing too much
Bruh you can't ask a wiki to do that, you'd have to ask one of the game's devs
Ok, I get it. These were old posts though
Oh
