Orange Hall is an area in B3313.

Description[]

It is a room made out of the titular orange walls, with two double doors on opposite walls, two windows with a cavity between them, and a hallway opposite to it. A Bob-omb Buddy inhabits the wall cavity; in v1.0.1, he has become a yellow enemy Bob-omb.

Origins[]

The area's layout may have been inspired from one of Papra Mayro's videos with some changes. The walls are likely a recolored version of a texture from the vanilla Super Mario 64.

The music is a variation of the "Inside Castle" theme from the vanilla OST, with a slightly slower tempo and 1 semitone higher in pitch.

Trivia[]

  • In pre 1.0 versions, the Bob-omb Buddy guarding the hole makes an implied reference to Dudaw, alluding to how he's free from working on his beta revival project. This is further implied by the hole leading to Vanish Cap under the Moat (beta), a level that was used in Dudaw's beta revival project.
  • In v1.0, the Bob-omb Buddy's dialogue is altered, likely to reference instead the B3313 contributors, who are now free, and to attempt to "shame" those who also worked on the Unabandoned build.
  • In v1.0.1, the Bob-omb Buddy is changed into a yellow enemy Bob-omb, thus eliminating his dialogue altogether.
  • A Toad in the entrance room to Crescent Castle describes a "faulty" Bob-omb who might be "hiding something," located in "a room made of bricks somewhere in the castle," and states that he would "check the windows" if he could. The Toad is referring to this Bob-omb Buddy, who can be found between two windows.
