Hybrid Lobby

Hybrid Lobby is an area in B3313.

Description[]

The Hybrid Lobby closely resembles the Plexal Lobby, featuring the same textures on the walls and ceiling, but with a predominantly checkerboard tiled floor. Throughout the area, blue star icons are displayed on the walls, appearing similar to those in the Nebula Lobby, but with their eyes closed.

The area is comprised of two four-way junction rooms, one featuring a blue star on the wall. To the right of the blue star, a door leads to a J-shaped room with a brick painting. To the left of the star is a door with a brick indentation in the wall and another door down a corridor. The main room leads to another junction room, which links to a room with a white-eyed Peach painting, a room with a Boo painting, and a door to the Balcony.

Origins[]

This area is a collaboration between multiple level designers from the development team, hence the name "Hybrid Lobby."

The music is a variation of the "Inside Castle" theme from the vanilla game's OST, now in a minor scale. This variation was made by NicoSwitch and used previously in Marionova's ROM hack Breaking the Barrier.

Toad's Lobby: Enter the door under the Peach painting.
Tubular Lobby: Enter the door to the right of the water painting and go down the halls to reach the Beta Room.
(UA) Wall Castle: Enter the door to the right of the water painting and go down the hall.
Balcony: Enter the door to the left in the junction.
Orange Hall: Enter the doors under the large blue star.
Internal Sewer System: Enter the door to the left of the brick painting.
Plexal Basement 2: Enter the brick-walled door to the left of the large blue star.

Leading away[]

Vanilla Lobby: Enter the Peach painting.
Tubular Lobby: Enter the brick painting. This warps to the Beta Room of the Tubular Lobby.
Haunted Mansion: Enter the Boo painting in the room right of the junction.
