Silent Hall is an area in B3313.
Description[]
The area is a small hallway set into the left side of the castle. A red carpeted stairway leads down to a checkerboard floor, with three sets of double doors at the end of the hall.
Origins[]
The area's layout is an original creation. Textures are mainly taken from beta versions of Super Mario 64.
There is no music playing in the area, as the name implies.
In v0.9, the faint sound of an owl hooting twice can be heard every few seconds. This is due to lead developer Chris using Silent Hall as a location to test sound effects and music, due to the area's lack of noise to interfere. In his Discord server, Chris explained that he had placed the owl sound object in different areas to test it, and in v0.9, it was "not in the areas it was supposed to be." The owl sound was removed in v1.0.

Explanation of the owl sound effect in Silent Hall.
Warps[]
Two-way[]
- Bowser's Maze: When facing the three sets of double doors, go through the one to the left.
- Plexal Basement: When facing the three sets of double doors, go through the one to the right.
- Castle Grounds: Go through the single door at the other end of the hall.
Leading away[]
- Uncanny Moat/Vanish Cap within the Plexus: Go through the middle set of double doors, then jump into the cap painting to enter one of the two areas at random.
- In ACT 0, the painting has a higher chance of warping to Uncanny Moat.
- In ACT 1, the painting has a higher chance of warping to Vanish Cap within the Plexus.
