CITY will face favourites Birmingham in the Vertu Trophy semi-finals.

The Bantams were handed a fourth successive away tie in this morning's last-four draw.

It will be their second trip to the second city in the space of a month after beating Aston Villa under-21s at Villa Park.

But City have not been to St Andrews since October 2001 when they were thumped 4-0 under Jim Jefferies.

The tie at the League One leaders will take place in the week beginning February 17.
