Hi everyone,
Since we've now entered the holiday period, not much is expected from Evergreen's dev team, so there's very little to talk about. But I'll see what I can gather!

POPGOES Evergreen:
So yeah, as it's getting close to Christmas I haven't expected much work for Evergreen recently - not much has happened and not much will happen until the new year I imagine.
Work on the post-night sections of the game, which mostly comprises of five fairly large environments, has proven to be quite difficult. I'm not sure how or why, but filling in these rooms has taken a long time despite multiple 2D and 3D contributors; seemingly much longer than it took to do the rooms for the pizzeria itself. But these developments are vital for the current plan for the game, so we have to be patient. If it turns out that progress is still too slow by the new year then I may need to re-evaluate how these sections of the game will play out. As usual I'm blown away by the QUALITY of what we've got so far, but yeah we just need a lot more done. We'll see what happens.
We will also start focusing on getting some traditional gameplay programmed in the new year, by having Garrett focus on rendering a lot of gameplay images which Emil can eventually program into an office setup. This won't speed up development, as this process was always going to need to happen and other steps haven't been removed from the plan... but it will mean we have some more things to show off.
Ellie has finished some commission work, so she may return to work on some 2D assets for the post-night sections soon. Radiarc is also working on some new music as well, though you guys won't be able to hear it until the game releases. I'll let you know my thoughts when I get round to listening to it though!
Unfortunately, that's really all I can share this week, and next week may be equally uneventful.
Also, please keep making and sharing fanart! I'm actually running out of pieces to share in these devlogs, so be sure to make your POPGOES / CPU fanart public by posting it either in the POPGOES Game Jolt community or on Twitter (with "popgoes" mentioned somewhere haha).
Alrighty, sorry about a rather empty devlog this week. Happy holidays to everyone, and I'll see you next week!
