Don’t mistake bugged with morons who don’t know how to do the event thus missing out on the rare event.
Also fyi, the 4 mobs respawn regularly on a timer similar to other rares So maybe just camp it out and inform others how to do it so they dont kill the 4 mobs, that’s what i do when i get my daily kill.
Okay, so how long is the respawn timer? I’ve never seen this active.
Once the event is bugged out, it stays bugged out. The related mobs never respawn so long as the Spirit Drinker is stuck at 2% HP.

Bugged again today. The two bugs I’ve seen so far are the Spirit Drinker gets stuck at low HP becoming unattackable or the Spirit Drinker isn’t up at all but the adds are up and just wandering around. No amount of waiting has resulted in either fixing itself.
This was bugged for the entirety of the PTR cycle. It’s terrible that it hasn’t been fixed yet. The events should be disabled from spawning in the rotation until a fix is made, IMO.
Still bugged today. Adds are currently friendly and just following the patrol path. Spirit Drinker isn’t spawning though.
Since its Monday and the devs are probably back to work today, I hope the focus is on fixing this bug and all the other events that have been buggy. Were missing out on rep because of these.
It’s been bugged the entire week. I doubt we’ll be seeing a fix for this before the invasions swap. Maybe next cycle? who knows.
I wonder…since the thing’s up seemingly every day, does the bug include it not even rotating out for a new event with the daily reset? Is there any other event that’s consistently up every day and in the same location?

Maybe the hotfix doesn’t actually fix the ones that are already bugged, but instead prevents the issue from happening in the future?

I see him at 1% hp all the time and unable to be killed.
It’s bugged today, and even worse, the guy you’re supposed to turn in the Uldum assault quest to is fighting the unkillable mob. So no one can turn in the assault quest. Just another example of Blizzard’s idiotic quest design.
Still bugged @ 1%.

Bugged for me as well. Probably has been since release.
bugged on SWC realm as well - I did try to bring him near the mobs for it to drain - no change
