If you do not have a Medium subscription please see the article here
Do you often find yourself highlighting passages in Kindle books as you read? I do this all the time, intending to revisit them later for some valuable insights. As you may know, every highlight you make on a Kindle book is saved to a document called “Your Kindle Notes and Highlights.” This document can be accessed from your library as a separate “book” or viewed through a web browser, with Kindle organizing the highlights by the book they came from.
Now, wouldn’t it be great to receive a daily reminder of the notes and highlights you’ve collected over the years? Fortunately, there’s a service that does exactly this — it’s called Readwise. However, Readwise comes with a subscription fee of nearly $6 per month.
But here’s the good news: I’ve discovered a free way to achieve the same thing. All you need is:
- A Google account (with Gmail and Google Sheets)
- Your saved quotes
- Access to ChatGPT
It’s simple, effective, and costs nothing.
For the rest of this article we’ll delve into 5 steps on how you can send yourself an email everyday with a highlight you’ve made with the book and author…
