Starting Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, pixiv will have a new logo.

pixiv launched in 2007 and has been using its current logo design since October 2008. The previous logo was designed to reflect our mission "Accelerate creativity.” It was designed to blend seamlessly with the web design trends of the time, embodying a modest yet soft and inclusive feel that could embrace a wide variety of works.
As of 2025, pixiv has grown to over 100 million registered users across more than 230 countries and regions. Over the years, user behavior and the online environment have evolved, with more users accessing pixiv via smartphones and an increasing global audience.
Since its launch, pixiv has been a gathering place for creators who discover new hobbies, passions, and opportunities for connection and collaboration.
The new logo, a renewal of the original after 16 years, embodies pixiv's dedication to fostering these creative possibilities and accelerating them toward a brighter future.
“Your creative journey awaits”
The new logo was inspired by the theme “Your creative journey awaits.”
The design incorporates geometric "0" and "1" elements to represent pixiv as a service rooted in the digital space. Reflecting the diversity of users and usage environments, the logo prioritizes high visibility across various platforms and ease of integration with other design elements.
Subtle imperfections, such as the shortened length of the "p" and the lettering’s rounded edges, symbolize the incredible abundance inherent in human creativity which makes possible the unexpected joy of discovering new ideas.
The logo retains the vibrant blue from its predecessor, embodying pixiv's ongoing mission to “Accelerate creativity.”
Promotional video: “Your creative journey awaits”
To coincide with the logo redesign, pixiv will release a promotional video introducing the platform on its official YouTube channel.
The video, themed “Your creative journey awaits,” envisions pixiv as a space where creators immerse themselves in their work, and where people connect and resonate with the art they love. Be sure to watch it!

Celebrate pixiv’s logo redesign with a special posting event
To commemorate the launch of the new logo, we are holding a special posting event inspired by the theme “Your creative journey awaits.” The event invites creators to share all their favorite things, turning the platform into a playground filled with joy and inspiration.
pixiv has also commissioned three illustrators to create original illustrations to celebrate the release of this new logo and the start of the special posting event, as well as for use as promotional materials.
