Youtube is the worst. I can't wait until people catch on to using the better alternatives and send youtube the way of myspace where it belongs.

Keep fighting! This is the unfortunate dystopian reality in which we currently exist. Keep posting on Odysee and Rumble; start up a website to have a central location for your videos, affiliate links, links to your book(s), etc; and maybe even look into selling some more merch. I love the work you do and I even used your link to buy some Polymaker TPU95 after your last video (and I've never used Polymaker or TPU of any sort). You gotta keep fighting the good fight. YT hates everyone that promotes healthy lifestyles, encourages self-sufficiency, has anything to do with weapons, questions the narrative, etc. The list of channels that fall under that is constantly growing as the goal posts are constantly being moved. YT has become an enemy of the people at this point.

well thats why we need to push Odysee for tech as well - thats why I have my tech related channel ONLY here on Odysee, even though it is very hard to grow since there is no algo to push it. But principles are principles. I try to watch everyone on Odysee here as well, and if someone i used to watch on YT is on Odysee I never give the view to YT but watch it here. It is up to all of us to make the effort unfortunately.

Sorry this happened to you. I joined Odysee and am exploring this platform because of what happened to you. Google/Youtube is out of control

I just can't bring myself to feel sorry for anyone who was still acting like YouTube was any kind of honest dealer. I'm sorry you lost your income, but you knew the bed you were making, and now you're just upset that you get to lay in it. 🤷‍♀️

The chances that you get a detailed explanation from youtube is near 0. This isn't about the terms of service. The TOS is intentionally vague, so that youtube can do whatever they want yet convince those not paying attention that they're being fair.

It's truly despicable behavior by youtube. Dishonest and cowardly. You're not even close the first to get screwed, and you won't be the last. The only thing I know to do is tell everyone I know to never watch anything on youtube.

They really have an unjust vendetta against you and really, if they werent a mega corp with an army of lawyers, it would be worth suing over. I know LTT is involved now so thats positive, but I would also try and see if Steven Crowder can help. I know he's political, but getting any kind of man power behind this could help. Assume you will still be demonetized, but full channel deletion is absurd. If its any consolation I will continue watching you here with every video, but Odysee is not a place for someone to make an income.

You really need to get everyone who follows you to contact their representatives to get them to pass a law protecting creators. This happens time and time again. Some creators are held to different standards and are banned from the platform even when they follow all of the rules. It's definitely politically motivated, so getting politics involved may be the only way to solve it.

It sucks you have to be the sacrificial lamb in this situation. Your videos and tutorials have helpful to an enormous amount of folks out there. We should get CTRL PEW to recommend your book more in the "Guide To Getting Started", most people get everything on that list before going forward.

X is making progress. If they set up a reference system with indexing for threads and videos it would quickly surpass YouTube. I think Elon has already realized that but it will take time to write the programming in a way that it doesn't crash the system.

I hope you get at least a real answer from youtube, I've been getting your books and following since the 2019 edition. It's crazy how the modern day response to most problems from companies is silence or lawsuit. Hopefully you can get it worked out man, your channel is like a wikipedia for 3d printing in an of itself, it can't not exist ya know.

I'm here, but not for political content. I have seen an increase in these sort of videos over the year though.

X (twitter) will pay for views and is trying to get people to put more videos on the platform.
The only real solution is to try and upload to as many platforms as possible and have people support you out of band via donations/sponsorship.
