What You’ll Get to Do:

As a CACI-WGI Intelligence Analyst (DOMEX SME), you will serve as a Document and Media Exploitation Analyst providing specialized analysis and forensic assessment support to evaluate documents and media items provided to you pertaining to the proliferation of WMD and chemical, biological, and nuclear events; issues impacting chemical, biological, and nuclear security; force protection; and force operability and survivability against a broad spectrum of nuclear, biological, chemical, and other WMD events. As Document and Media Exploitation Analyst, you will serve on a unique, multi-discipline team assisting IA and IC partners with fusing operations and intelligence information to enhance their efforts against emerging and current threat networks that facilitate or employ improvised threats and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), and Terrorism. You will develop assessments and recommend procedures and courses of action that could be used to obtain strategic and operationally actionable information augmenting DoD’s responsibility to mitigate the threat posed by weapons of mass destruction and emerging threat networks. You will integrate available DOMEX data with existing national-level products and databases to define patterns of threat. As required, you will interact directly with local, state and Federal law enforcement agencies, the Department of Homeland Security and other DoD and Federal Agencies. You will adhere to DTRA production standards supporting the Government’s Request for Support (RFS) and Named Area of Interest (NAI) processes. You will assist in the preparation and the conduct of leader engagements with DTRA and commanders globally, to assist in developing processes that enhance situational understanding of Biological WMD and improvised threats, and the networks that employ or facilitate them to enable DOD, IA, and IC efforts focused on dismantling, disrupting, and defeating those threats.

More About the Role:

As an Intelligence Analyst with specialized experience in Document Exploitation, participates in sending media to NMEC’s partners and retrieving media from those partners when necessary. Reviews errors and learns about the processes in place that automate the media ingestion and archive workflow. Examine captured documents and media, vetting and identifying files of intelligence value in accordance with DTRA/NMEC Priority Intel Requirements (PIRs). Research, review, compile, and craft acquisition details surrounding batches of acquired media. Demonstrate online research expertise related to foreign Internet, websites, media, and social media sites. Perform team activities including exploratory searches and research of acquired documents and media; generate detailed information products for use in identifying intelligence related files. Maintain large holdings of data and data products within the client’s data repositories. Identify files of intelligence value per customer requirements and provide files for screening by linguists and DTRA Analysts. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with peers conducting DOMEX at the NMEC and other IC and interagency partners. Brief products and information as needed to Senior Level Leadership at DTRA and NMEC to include occasional briefs to IC partners off-site.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
  • More than five years of document and media exploitation analytic experience with DoD, US and/or interagency partners (Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security or Federal law enforcement agencies preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience and capability using computer forensic tools, and experience in at least one of the following: EnCase, FTK, XRY, Autopsy, and/or Cellebrite UFED.
  • Working knowledge of forensics.
  • Experience in DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), or Law Enforcement Agency.
  • Practical understanding of network analysis tools such as Analyst Notebook and Palantir.
  • Practical understanding of geospatial Intel tools such as ArcGIS and Google Earth.
  • Practical understanding of Intel-related databases such as M3, TAC, NCTC Online, TIDE, ICReach SIGINT database, Cultweave SIGINT database, SIGINT Databases.
  • Willing to work rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and weekends.
  • Bachelor’s degree and more than three years of experience, or an associate degree and five years of experience, or seven years of relevant work experience. We will also consider candidates with four years of directly relevant experience.
  • You must also possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Practical understanding of MS Office, Excel, and big-data analytic techniques for structured and unstructured data.
  • Practical understanding of collection techniques and working knowledge of tradecraft and tools used in the WMD and counter-proliferation collection environment

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Microsoft or Computer Forensic Certification
  • Experience with the terminology used in the collection of data for chemicals, biologics, and WMDs and their proliferation
  • More than ten years of military experience, and/or a combination of military and IC Agency experience, including recent combat deployments, and be well-versed in all areas of military intelligence, DOMEX, security and/or force protection.
  • Expert understanding of MS Office suite.
  • Expert understanding of network analysis tools such as Analyst Notebook and Palantir.
  • Expert understanding of Intel-related databases such as M3, TAC, NCTC Online, TIDE, ICReach SIGINT database, Cultweave SIGINT database, SIGINT Databases.
  • Expert understanding of geospatial Intel tools such as ArcGIS and Google Earth.
