Surrounded by bare trees in a sloping forest, near a footpath that leads into the distance, and wearing a warm scarf and a favourite old coat mended with patches, the hedgehog stands with one hand in a pocket, and a garden rake in the other, in front of a tidy pile of fallen leaves. Leaves from the picture, blown by the chilly wind, spill out and over a thick border that frames the image. Drawn in a cartoon-comic style, the daytime scene shows a mountainous island full of roaming giant friendly dinosaurs. At the front of the scene, a group of spear holding cave girls and cave men gather, with their pet sabre tooth tiger nearby. The variants shows the same piece in different colourways: one forest greens and another in very bright fruity colours. Greg designed this 7 print colour piece for screen-printing.

A sheet of characters and characters designs, designed by and copyright Greg Abbott 21st March 2024. Designed to suit animation, comics, video games, and similar entertainment, and divided into two sets, each group depicts various unknown alien species, coming from an imagined space-themed sci-fi universe. The top row shows a squad of bad guys, mean and menacing villains. The lower row shows a protagonists's team of good guys, a crew assembled from various planets. Greg gave all of the characters homonym and wordplay based names that describe an aspect of their personality or narrative role. The vector format work shows symmetrical designs of each character, drawn from a front-on view. Serving as a visual development size-comparison chart and not as a colour-guide, this image instead uses limited colours across the cast line-up: red, blue, dark grey and off-white.
