Origin of "Ganso Mentai Nikomi Tsuke-men"

The flavor of the “dipping sauce” is based on the richness of seasoned cod roe, “mentaiko”. Our “noodles”, which are manufactured in our world-famous noodle factory, are utilized to the max with the “dipping sauce” that was developed at the same location. Due to our endless passion for research, this delicious “Ganso Mentai Nikomi Tsukemen” was born in Hakata, Fukuoka.

This delicious taste first earned its reputation from the people of Hakata, who are very familiar with mentaiko on a daily basis and are very particular about its taste. Before we knew it, people from all over the country were coming to the “Ganso Mentai Nikomi Tsukemen” shop to try it out. Many customers would say “I want to eat this in my home town!” or “I want to eat this in Tokyo!”.

In response to those customers who came all the way to Fukuoka to enjoy “Ganso Mentai Nikomi Tsukemen”, in 2013 we opened our first “specialty tsukemen shop” in the tsukemen capital of the world, Ikebukuro. From then on, we have been endlessly devoted to delivering the best taste and service to all of our customers.
